Second Grade

In second grade we enjoy the rich curriculum of Core Knowledge including the Civil War, Civil Rights, and Immigration.  In science we delve into the world of insects, habitats, the water cycle, and more.  We begin the transition from learning to read to reading to learn and work with our outstanding literacy team to meet students’ needs. 

Our annual highlights include:

  • Valentines Store 
  • Immigration program
  • Fort Collins history field trips
