Our Student Advisory Board is comprised of fifth grade students who demonstrate a desire for leadership and want to help within our TCKS community. These students are selected each year following an application process and are then chosen as representatives of the student body.
They participate in various service projects including: Spirit Days, Blood Drives, Turkey Roundup for the Larimer County Food Bank, Hat and Mitten Tree, donations for our Early Childhood students, and a spring Food Drive. Our students learn how to become a leader while having fun, working together and helping others.
One skill they work on each year is the ability to speak in front of others. We look to these fifth graders to demonstrate the culmination of several years of character education at Traut. Our mission at Traut is educational excellence in knowledge, skills and character with strong parent-teacher-students partnerships and our SAB is the representative group of that triad.
