Activities

At Traut we offer many opportunities and  encourage students to participate in a variety of after-school events and activities.

Traut students can participate in multiple extracurricular activities sponsored by the school including:

  • Learning Expo
  • Choir
  • Chimes Choir
  • P.E. Clubs
  • Student Advisory Board

  • AlphaBEST- Before and After School Care
  • Blooming Girls- Girls learn valuable lessons focused on life skills, a fun-filled adventure of self discovery, and personal growth.
  • Chess Club- Learn the skills and strategies to excel at Chess
  • Foreign Languages
    • Spanish 
    • Chinese 
  • Girls on the Run- Girls on the Run inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
  • Lego Robotics- Work on a team to build an autonomous Lego robot
  • Odyssey of the Mind- Work together with other creative minds to solve unique problems
  • Open-Ended Art Class- Through-provoking open-ended art projects
  • Play-Well- Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture using LEGO parts
  • Robotics and Coding Club- Code and build robots using Lego, VEX, and Scratch kits
  • Science Matters STEM Clubs- Become an inventor, artist, historian, and scientist as students explore all the wonders that science offers.
