Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Bongers. I am so excited to be returning for my 4th year in kindergarten at Traut, and my first year job-sharing with my amazing friend, Mrs. Tibbets! We are going to have such a blast. :) A few things about me: I'm originally from Bakersfield, CA, I am married to my best pal Ben, and I have the most perfect 1-year old daughter, Henrietta (lovingly referred to as Hattie or Hank). I love to bake, ride bikes, garden, play sports, and spend time with my family.
Everyone is so friendly and willing to jump in and help!
I love anything Jane Austen! Also, one of my all-time favorites is Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher.
My hope is that anyone who enters into Room feels safe, at home, and happy. :) I am excited to get to know each and every student, and I look forward to having an AMAZING year!
This will be my 11th year of teaching. I was lucky enough to teach for 5 years in California and 2 years in Loveland, CO. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and this is my 4th year teaching kinder at Traut!
