Biographical Sketch

This is my fourth year working at Traut. I started out my teaching career in Jersey City, New Jersey after graduating from Iowa State University. After teaching in New Jersey for two years, I moved to Seattle, Washington, where I spent four years teaching. I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of grade levels, including kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 5th, and ELL.

What I like about Traut is

It is an honor to be a part of such a strong community, whose focus truly is on the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of their students and the partnerships that are made amongst staff, students, and families.

Hobbies & Interests

When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, reading, hiking, camping, and relaxing with my husband and our two cats.
