TCKS Activities

There are multiple activities that are sponsored by Traut and run by staff members. Some of these activities are limited to certain grades. Check below for a brief description and availability.

 

Beyond Book Club (Grades 4-5)- Book club to read and periodically meet to discuss the books and participate in related activities.

Learning Expo (Grades 4 & 5)- This annual event is an opportunity for students to share their independent learning with the school community.

Spelling Bee (Grades 3 - 5) Each year students may choose to participate in the TCKS Spelling Bee and compete to be in the district Spelling Bee. 

Music from the Core Choir (Grades 3-5)-  Morning ensemble where students gather together and sing as either a member of the harmony or melody section

Chimes Choir (Grades 3-5)-  Ensemble where up to 22 auditioned students play hand chimes.

P.E. Clubs (Grades vary based on club)- After school clubs that students are able to participate in  include: Walking/ Running, Tennis, Climbing, and Track Ten

Spelling Bee- The spelling bee is a friendly competition for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. The winner of Traut's spelling bee goes on to compete at the district spelling bee. 

Student Advisory Board (SAB)- An opportunity for students in 4th and 5th grades to serve fellow students in a leadership role.
